Winslow Eliot’s novels have been translated into eleven languages and published in twenty countries. She is the author of The Bright Face of Danger (St. Martin’s Press 1993), which has been published in four separate French editions: as Fatale Vengeance (Harlequin) and, most recently, as L’Innocence du Mal (Mira Books and Harlequin Bestsellers 2009). The Wine-Dark Sea, Painted Secrets, Red Sky At Night, A Distant Light, and Roman Candles were published under the pseudonym Ellie Winslow by Signet/NAL. The Wine-Dark Sea was bought by ITC in Hollywood, and made into a screenplay.
Every morning, Winslow Eliot posts her Daily Happinesses, answers her mail, and begins her day of writing. Her weekly newsletter, “Write Spa – An Oasis for Writers,” offers writing practices she hopes will encourage and revitalize fellow writers. She writes poetry, and is co-founder of the Saturn Series Poetry Reading in New York City. She also loves teaching high school kids, mentoring writers, traveling, singing, and belly dancing.
